INSTRUMENTS and PERFORMERS
- The Alchemy Ensemble Brian Capleton
and Angela Cranmore - viols; Patrick Dunn - Harpsichord; Sue Butler - Recorders.
Based in the UK, Alchemy was founded in 1999 for the performaaance of Masterworks
from the viol's baroque repertoire together with new virtuoso music for viols.

in medieval and contemporary Irish and Celtic music and has released six albums

- Philippe BOLTON Recorder maker.
- Colin Booth
Harpsichordist from England. After initial training as a pianist and organist,
he studied Harpsichord with Colin Tilney. Colin Booth plays solo and continuo
in many countries, from Denmark to South Africa. He has given live concerts
for Denmark Radio, recorded incidental music for British Independant Television
and has issued a number of CDs. He teaches in his own area, and is a regular
contributor to the Dartington International Summer School. He is also a highly
regarded Harpsichord maker.

- Il Flauto
Dolce

Specialising in repertoire of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, they share a passion for the music of Handel's London and folk-inspired baroque music from around the British Isles and Ireland. 19th century baryton virtuoso Vincenzo Hauschka, the Hauschka Ensemble has
been amazing audiences for the last ten years. It specialises in the remarkable
repertoire of works for self-accompanied baryton, from 17th century works
in modified lute tablature through to contemporary works written especially
for them.

and Guitar Duo The husband and wife team, Kathleen McDonald and Pasquale
Bianculli, form this Duo which has performed throughout the U.S., Europe,
Canada and the Caribbean.

Harpsichordist who is the director of the baroque ensemble Concerto Caledonia.
David is also active as a chamber music pianist on fortepiano and modern piano,
plays regularly in the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and has appeared as a soloist
with the SCO and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

- Rodney Waterman A performer, teacher and composer who specialises in the recorder. He studied with Kees Boeke in Italy and Holland in the mid-1980s. His repertoire is eclectic, including early, folk and comtemporary and Brazilian music, with a particular interest in improvised music. He has performed and tutored widely in Australia and New Zealand including numerous major Festivals.
