DGE
The DGE has been critically acclaimed and enthusiastically received at
Festivals and concerts all over Ireland and abroad. The group broadcasts
regularly on Radio and TV and has issued a number of recordings. Repertoire
ranges from the 16th century to music by late Baroque composers such as
Corelli, Bach, Handel, Telemann, Couperin and Vivaldi. A frequent feature
of concerts is the inclusion of music by Irish Baroque Composers especially
that of Turlough O Carolan(1670-1738) the harper-composer.
The Ensemble is available for engagements in Ireland and overseas.
